I had my Fenix 7 for 4 months now and it just stopped working. Yesterday, I used it during a cold water swim and when I came out of the water, it started behaving very weirdly. First of all, I noticed some random and very light vibrations, almost like "haptic" vibrations. I thought it was me, but then I happened to look at the watch just when it vibrated, and I could see the screen light going on and the watch vibrating. I tried to set "do not disturb" mode, but the watch kept vibrating every half an hour or so, to the point that I had to take it off in the middle of the night because it woke me up. I then also noticed that the back button doesn't work anymore. No matter how hard or how much I press it, it just doesn't work at all. I normally have the touchscreen disabled, but I had to enable it to use the "back swipe gesture" in order to go back to the main screen. Since yesterday, I also noticed that the screen backlight is pretty much always on, and even if I turn it off manually, it goes back on after a while and it stays like this. This, of course, is draining the battery which is now lasting much less. I tried to restart the watch at first but it didn't do anything, then I tried a full reset but it didn't do anything either. I'm starting to think that the watch itself is broken, but how can water have damaged it if it's waterproof down to 100m?? I'm feeling a bit disappointed by this watch, especially considering that I paid almost £700 for it.
I tried to contact support but it's been a week now and I still haven't heard from them. What should I do?
