gps indicator blocking activity screen

Well yeah. I'm recording my activities and I can see distance etc increase in the lower part of the screen, and then see the workout in connect. How would I do that if I didn't start the activity to start with? If I click this indicator away it returns to the screen short time later.

Update your watch. That was a known bug. We are already on 13.22

Ok, that's good to hear. Now I only need to figure out how to update my watch because I cannot connect it to my wifi anymore (use my phone for home internet, on which is the connect app), can't get it via mobile data and also don't see an update via rubbish Garmin Express. Grrr...

Yeah, saw it above. I currently can't update my watch because it's not working via mobile data anymore, watch won't connect to wifi which is phone tethering, and Express doesn't have a firmware update for me.

Finally managed to update the firmware. No unexpected battery drain and the gps indicator is gone from during activities. Phew. Ugly HR drop during workout: Check. Some things never change :(

Thanks a lot. I think there's nothing in that list where I need to activate/change things. With jetlag I was wondering why it didn't work, and then, much later realized that I had to activate it.
