Climb? Run? I want to record floors, speed, time, map, distance, etc.
Should I simply hit run? Or use a floor climbing activity and edit data screens. Any other options?

I tried to create a custom activity but I don't see floor fields for data screens. I also can't find Floor Climb activity, or another activity that counts floors...
Run or Trail Run I think would work if you are running. Walk or Hike if you are walking.
I use hike at a park with a lot of hills, and it records the floors pretty accurately. Like if I have 500 ft of elevation gain, it records about 50 floors in GC (not the activity).
Unless you want the floors to record in the actual activity. For that I don't know.
That's good advice. Others suggested treadmill too. But I was looking forward to see floors in real time. I can't find floors climbed as data fields in Fenix 7.
Take a look at the "Floor Climb" activity. You should be able to add it from you activities. It has floors climbed, and looks like you can use GPS as well. That may be what you need.
I can't find Floor Climb anywhere, or data fields related to floors...
You have to add it.
Thanks! I just found it in my device under the "Gym" folder, I never searched there... I'll try it!
