Question:
I am a pilot by profession and wanted to quick check if I missed something new in fenix watches
Once I take off I would like my main time to be set as UTC. Since all our rest times, landing calculations and time is based on UTC.
eg: After takeoff I would like to set couple of alarms based on UTC time, which I guess we cannot set unless the main time is UTC.
What's the easiest way to do it?
With BT connected I can set my phone time to UTC and that works, but it's there anything in the watch that I can do like swap time etc?
2: When we set timers, is there any watch face that displays timers? We have to go to the timer app and check.
Would be nice to see a reverse timer on the main watch face.
3: I sleep before my flight. Then I fly for 13hrs towards West, and then you sleep again. Next day it shows sleep time as total of 15-18hrs. This is happening due to watch changing time zones.
Since we have garmin aviator watch as well, has garmin catered for this difference and the way it takes sleep in different time zones?
Also there will be people who don't have same time or schedule to sleep, there is no option to disable sleep schedule. We have to select something there.. Would be nice to have no schedule
