No multipitch activity available on Garmin Fenix 7? Coros can do!

Is there really no multipitch climbing activity available on the F7 or did I overlook it? My Friend with his Coros could esily track our multipitch climbing today, with coosing the grade after every pitch wich was very cool. I can't beliebe that this shouldn't be possible with the F7 as there are activities for almosz every lifestyle, including the most important as breathwork ;-)

Has anybody used his fenix with climbing multipitches and could help me a bit?

I had to google what multipitch was so I am thinking this is such a niche activity there is nothing specific for it built in. There is an app on the ConnectIQ store which should do what you are asking using "climbing multi pitch connectiq" on google.

In the Alps, many climbers have fun with spectacular multipitchroutes, so that you did not know about it is no measure.

My friend took this feature as the unique selling point for his Coros and I can feel him.

Here is a test about it from a well known climber (yes not everything is tested by DCRainmaker ;-)

If you purchased a watch that does not have the capabilities you need, I strongly suggest you sell/return it and buy the Coros.

Not the perfect solution but I used Bouldering activity for multipitch climb.
Before start I choose the grading system (Font) and then choosing difficulty of the first pitch. After each pitch I mark it complete and before the next one I choose the new difficulty.
I know that bouldering is completely different activity, but it is suitable for multipitch climbing.

Thank you very much for your hint.

Its a good sign that bouldering is an available activity (despite some other people have to google what it is :-)

I will give it a try. Perhaps some of the app developers will make a multipitch climbing activity, which I would buy at once.

The Coros CEO is an avid climber himself (Lewis Wu) so its not surprising that Coros watches have advanced/niche climbing features that others don't have. Check out his Instagram, you'll often find him out in the wild himself putting his own company's technology to the test.
