I bought a new bike recently and had the idea to put a speed sensor 2 on the bike, so I also have some data for the rides where I didn't start an activity on my watch.
Sadly there seems to be a bug which results in not saving certain bike rides. When I start a bike activity on my fenix 7x ss the sensor is always found and after saving listed in the activity. When not starting a bike activity it depends, most but not all short rides do succeed to be saved, but when I do somewhat longer ones they don't sync or only partially saved.
I have the feeling there is something with my fenix which makes the sensor think it doesn't need to save the activity resulting missing rides. I am pretty sure it happens when opening glances or apps (or even just opening the app menu). I have noticed that with the fenix a sensor can be shown as connected by going to a connect iq glance as well.
I would think the sensor would always save the ride and logic in connect would decide to throw away a speed sensor 2 activity when there is also another activity synced where that sensor is used.
Are others also experiencing this behaviour?
Both fenix 7x ss and speed sensor 2 are on latest firmware.
