It used to be when you would double click the like button the LED would come on. For this future to work you'd have to quickly double click it. Post update I can click it, give it a second, click it again, and then the labor turn on. This is inconvenient because if I check what time it is during the movie trailers, and then go to turn the backlight off, the LED will turn on. When the middle of the night when I go to check the time, and then turn the light off, suddenly LED light will turn on. Additionally, I have found that sometimes that LED light will just be on when I wake up. It's happened three times, and it eats about 20 to 30% of my battery
Simply put, the LED light turns on too easily now after the software update. Before the turn it on you need to quickly double click the like button. Now it seems you can wait up to a second or two between presses and it will still turn on
