Thanks I will give it a read, yes this what I think is the problem I use the Garmin fuel HR monitor with the watch and it give a new lactate threshold score and thats when the problems begin
Your max heart rate is way off. If you know it , enter it manually in garmin connect - user profile - heart rate&power zones -heart rate - max heart rate. Otherwise enable auto decteion in same menu.
Yes I have done this, entered it manually and had the same problem, im not sure if it’s got something to do with how the settings are set up or threshold score that got taken Thursday that’s when problems started?

If You have a chest strap, then lthr, otherwise %hrr is next best by mine experience. Btw what maxhr is set for You?

No, I would suggest %hrr ,if yours max.hr is set right.
