Stops connecting to unwanted sensors that often happened at the start line of events etc. Also extremely useful in households with several sensors connected to different bikes etc and different accounts…
Yes. Auto-Discover of sensors is enabled by default. Useful when setting up a new watch but once that's been done I'd set it to Off.
So to be precise: you will gain the written advantages by disabling this option.

Great ! Thanks !

Right. Thank you! I have already done that.

I have a Garmin Tempe paired to my F7X SS. Before 13.22 temperature would not show in GC if I didn't have it with me. It would not automatically fall back to using the onboard temp reading. Today, I did a 9km trail run and was surprised to notice there was a temperature reading (left the Tempe at home).

There is also a Record Temperature setting under each profile that allows you to enable temperature recording whether you have a Tempe connected or not. It that setting is On, the internal watch temperature will be recorded and show up on GC. If you have a Tempe paired/connected during the activity, the Record Temperature setting is forced to On.
