Wrist Gesture Function Remains Active when Do Not Disturb Activated

Mine is doing the same thing.

The only feature that "acitivates" with the gesture function on your fenix 7X Solar Sapphire is the backlight.  Why not simply turn OFF the Gesture function if you don't want it to activate?

MENU > System > Backlight > General Use > Wrist Gesture > [Toggle OFF]

Yah.  IMO setting DND should not turn of gesture. Just because I don’t want to receive notifications (which might not be only when asleep) doesn’t mean I don’t want the backlight on when I look at the watch.  I suspect this is working as designed.

What's disappointing?  That the watch is working as it is supposed to?  What, exactly, do you think is wrong with your watch?

Within the do not disturb settings you can select whether you want the wrist gesture to be on or off with do not disturb activated. It makes no difference what I select. The wrist gesture always remains active unless I go into the specific wrist gesture function and disable it completely. 

It's only started happening after the new firmware update was installed.

MENU > System > Do Not Disturb > Edit > Backlight > [Toggle OFF]
