Spotify won't play downloaded podcasts or songs

Have just bought a Fénix 7 Solar. Installed Spotify and downloaded some playlist including some podcasts. Go to play them but just get the blank screen.

Have tried all the suggestions on these forums but still nothing.

Please help.

Restart the watch. Just hold upper left until it restarts.

Already done that. Changes nothing.

Apologies. I had only done the 'press left' then 'turn off' rather than your method. This worked. Thank you.

I had this issue with me today.

I tried restarting watch. Didn't seem to work.

I just download ANOTHER spotify podcast.

That seemed to have worked and made it so I can listen to Podcast during my run lol. Strange. Try that! Download another item on Spotify for offline use!

This was also an issue during the beta. If restating the watch will not solve the issue, you then need to remove Spotify and install the app again and then download the content again. For me this worked.

One possible way to solve Spotify not working on Garmin watches is to utilize tools like Tunelf Spotify Music Converter to download Spotify songs offline and save them as popular physical files. So, you can upload them to your Garmin device for streaming without a problem

Happened to me today - restart did not help, but a resync ("Update downloads" from the watch) solved the issue.
