Weird scratch/crack lines on a brand new fenix 7 solar edition

Hi Garmin team!

I've recently bought a brand new fenix 7 solar watch. Have to say that it is a pretty awesome piece of hardware!
Although one thing really bothers me. When I turn on backlight (100%) at night, I can clearly see two strips/mini-cracks inside the screen. Watch is literally brand new, just unpacked.
There are no scratches or any damage on the surface of the screen. And these "cracks" are visible only when backlight is enabled, e.g. I can't see them under the direct sunlight.

Are these lines something expected with solar panel? Or this is a warranty case?

warranty case, I had similar issue with a replacement sapphire model and it was swapped, contact Garmin support and have it exchanged :-)

If I zoom into your photos, I believe to see the dotmatrix of the LC-Display in these lines.

So I think its no cracks, but an issue with the LC-Display itself. But in the end it doesn't matter because it definitely is a failure.

Just was curious to look deeper into it to see what it is :-)

Have you had any luck? I'm going thru the same, suddenly over night a small " crack " appeared internally. I have opened a support ticket with the Garmin Iberia team but they reject taking a look at it. Fun fact: this watch was sent to me by them after replacing my Garmin Fenix 6: 8 times. So it's supposed to be brand new, couple months old.

Hi Lumixen. Did Garmin assist you because I have a new Fenix 7 not even a week old with the same problem.

They replaced mine. Support didn’t want to take it. They made me reach another team called quality team. This team did the RMA saying they wanted to validate that I didnt crack it. From arrival to send me a new one took them 10’. I feel they know about this defect.

My local reseller replaced mine, honestly Garmin's international support wasn't that helpful.
