How to start LiveTrack

HI all,

I've set up LIveTrack in Connect, and it works with my Edge830 (where I can start it).

However, now I would like to start LiveTrack on my F7SS (not using the Edge), and I have no clue where to find it. Unfortunately the manual isn't very helpful (only mentions how to start a GroupTrack). Can anyone help me?

The only watch that I know of that you can start a LiveTrack on-watch is the Forerunner 945 LTE.

Setup is through Garmin Connect Mobile under Safety and Tracking. You obviously need your phone with you during the activity.

It's clear I need my phone for network connectivity, I was just hoping I could activate LiveTrack on the watch itself (similar to Edge). In my case, I don't want LiveTrack on by default, but e.g. when my wife is sending me a message during my cycling commute back home, I would like to be able to activate LiveTrack from the watch. That would be some sort of an answer to her then:)

Not really the purpose of live track, but if you just want to respond to your wife you could use the assistance feature.

The FR955 have this option. Still missing in the Fenix7 Epix2 line.

Can't understand, why this is missing on Fenix/Epix watches.. Really missing it.
