Backlight gesture during sleep mode

Hi, do you know how to enable hand gesture for backlight during sleep mode? During the day it works fine, but at night when I want to check the time I have to press the screen or a button and it's very annoying. Do you have any tips on how to set it up because I don't have the option to turn on gestures in sleep mode in the settings? On my Fenix 6, this work even during the night. Thanks

Do not disturb is enabled during sleep. There is a gesture setting as an option. Perhaps that will work. I couldn't find it in…

for now you can't choose wrist gesture with sleep mode.

there's way too many interlinked options; if you have a sleep cycle, if you have focus, if you have do not disturb etc. etc. - there's too many sub menus. It's crazy.

Somebosy fix this. This watches are way over engineerred. Just a simple - on / off toggle for wrist gesture is needed.

Maybe the Fenix 7 is not for you, and a simpler watch, such as the Instinct would suit your needs.

How about setting the sleep time for just 1 minute out of the day. It's not really detecting when you sleep, just a fancy DND mode. Then you can have the gesture toggle work as you want, the other 1,439 minutes of the day.

I’ve got the opposite problem, I want gesture to be OFF during sleep. It’s giving me the sh!ts. Wanna swap?

I have the opposite problem in that I couldn’t get the gesture OFF during sleep, annoyed the *** out of me. I’ll try attach my screen recording of how I turned it off and maybe you can reverse it?
