Weather widget not showing current temperatures

The stock weather widget only very occasionally shows the current temperature outside. Most of the time it just shows a double dash. At first I thought the garmin connect app loses connection to the garmin watch. But the minutecast app works like a charm.

Coule you please look into that? When I want to know the temperature I always have to ask my wife. She just takes a glance at her Apple watch and it always just works…

What are your GC settings in your phone?
You need to allow GC to have permanent access to GPS data to have this feature work.

Thanks for the reply! Ok. I changed the settings on my iPhone. For now it works. If it will still work tomorrow it‘s the solution. You know I already had thst problem on my Fenix 3. The Garmin Connect app should really urge you to enable that setting and tell you that otherwise the weather widget won‘t work properly. I will get back tomorrow. Thanks!
