Navigation through google maps - "Please start a Maps navigation..." Message every morning

Recently my watch has been asking me to "Please start a Maps navigation.." every morning when I wake up, without touching my phone or watch.

Software Version 11.28

There is an Companion App installed call "Navigation through google maps" version 4.6.5

Anyone else have these and seen the same problem?

I'm contacting the developer to see if something has changed in the last update.

The Product App Support team responded with this hope it's useful for others.

do you use the „shared location” feature of google maps? In the past I saw cases where this wakes up the app.

Apart from that, as a quick fix, I could recommend to switch off the auto start feature: Open Navigation Watch on your phone, go to settings and disable “start watch app automatically”
