Spoke to Garmin staff today about when the updates would come through, but they confirmed that the features on the budget Forerunner series will not come to the Fenix line, not even the newest and top tier running watch they have, Really disappointing to hear that Garmin's newest version and top model running watch will not receive the software updates to allow all running dynamics that are on the budget running watches.
Has nothing to do with hardware apparently.
Curious to know what Fenix owners are planning on doing? sell your watch and get a cheaper model Forerunner just to make use of the features?
