Fenix 7 remove useless maps

I'm a french user of Garmin Fenix 7

This forum has been very helpful previously to know the difference between "adventure" and "trekking" activities

I'd like to remove useless maps pre installed on my Garmin Fenix 7

The user guide says "when connected to a wifi network, select the map, press the start button and select remove"
I did connect to a wifi network, followed the instructions but the start button shows only the version of the map, without any possible removal action

Some useless ski maps can't be removed even in Garmin Express (PC).

And also the Golf Maps.

They can be removed by accessing the file system. But you should know what you are doing.

As a Mac user I've installed the app 'android file transfer' and deleted straightly the unwanted maps in the directory of the watch

I do think this Fenix 7 Garmin is a wonderful product, not their user guide and online support.

Its the golf maps that really annoy me. I dont want 1GB+ of bllody golf maps on my watch and for some arcane bizzare reason you are not allowed to remove them.

PS Actually I removed them manually when connnected to my PC, works fine, but that my experience dont blame me if you do that and your watch catches fire !!!!!
