Sunset time off by one hour the day before DST starts - only on watch face and some sunrise/sunset pages (PST zone).

On 11.28, the main watch face shows a Set time of 7:09p at my latitude.  The actual sunrise-sunset glance shows a mix of correct and incorrect times after the latest fancy "sun path across my map location".  It's like no one ever actually boundary tests Garmin software?

Here are a couple of pics showing the issue - watch face, and first page of glance.

I mean, I'd like to trust Garmin but if they keep doing silly novice stuff on their uber-high-end devices...are they really trustworthy?

  • Also FWIW, it's now after 6:15p; the glance still shows sunset @ 6:09p, but in almost an hour.  As you can see above, the sunset time on the original glance phone @ 6:09p, was roughly correct, yet the duration to sunset should not be 1H 55M, but 55M.  The glance is so wrong it's almost right.  The watch still shows sunset @ 7:09p.  Of course my Apple Watch was totally correct.  Sunset was at 6:07-ish, and now sunrise is at 7:22am.

So of course Apple got it right and Garmin got it wrong.  I'd like that to not be a really common statement.  Unfortunately currently, it's too often true.
