I'd rather want Garmin to put more energy towards fixing many bugs that remain not fixed for years. I don't need a flashy UI. The usability could be further improved, but that is another topic.…
In my opinion, they should keep the UI as is. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Fortunately, I highly doubt Garmin is considering changing the UI on the Fenix 7 in any substantial way.

I fully agree. Fixing bugs should be top priority. Some serious ones are known for over a year and still unresolved.
