who knows if the new UI of the Forerunner 965 will be implemented, although the fenix is not Amoled, a refresh of the UI would not be bad, on the contrary....does anyone have any news about it?

Let's hope not.

I read this subject thread / topic to NOT be another AMOLED vs MIP discussion. Rather, the question posed is more like: given a MIP display Fenix, would the 965 UI (meaning the style / graphics / gradients…

I don't see this being very feasible. Consider these specs: FR965 with 454x454 pixels and 64,000 colors versus F7 with 260x260 pixels and 64 (sixty four!) colors. The 965 UI is designed to exploit the high resolution and color depth of AMOLED with lots of color gradients that just would never work on MIP display.
Of course, I understand the AMOLED speech, but I don't see it strictly linked to that context, according to a porting it would be possible, also because only the graphic aspect would have to be revied, regardless From the display which obviously isn't amoled, but I don't have much interest in the latter
Much too elaborate for a watch that will soon be replaced by a Fenix 8 with AMOLED. And AMOLED will definitely be available for the successor... the market demands it.
Let's hope not.

Please keep Epix and Fenix separate, in terms of Amoled vs MIP!
Totally agree with you
A watch that needs to be charged every day (or every other day) would be a hard NO from me. My Tactix 7 Pro Ballistic Edition lasts about three weeks on a single charge, and while I would love the contrast and readability of an AMOLED display, I would never sacrifice watch endurance for this.
Maybe Garmin will find another source of energy to power the watch besides solar, and be able to make an AMOLED display work within the limited power budget that's available. Automatic watches (which use mechanical movements) are wound through wrist movements, maybe a small generator could be built using this principle -- the more you move, the more energy would be generated. And then there are thermoelectric materials that can harvest energy from body heat. The advantage of not using solar would be that you could also go back to perfectly clear Gorilla glass or plain sapphire.

Already exists > Seiko Kinetic

Well, you can answer this question yourself ...
With a resolution of ~260 x 260 px and 64 colors all your points are not feasible.
