So I have never had any issues with my Fenix 7 Sapphire (besides the fact that the first one delivered by garmin was not Sapphire and got a scratch in the screen in the first week - garmin promptly replaced the watch for a Sapphire version).
Most recently my right side buttons started to fail to click and my watch wouldn’t stop vibrating even though I wasn’t receiving alerts and it was still on do not disturb mode. From here I decided to go through the reset option on the watch using the touchscreen option.
Unfortunately what happened is that I got stuck in the reset to default settings screen. If I press yes, the watch resets and go back to the same screen. If I press no, it goes immediately back to the same screen asking me the same question in an eternal loop.
To try to solve the issue with my buttons to hopefully unstuck my watch, I left it on a bowl of lukewarm water for 10 minutes, as suggested by garmin in other posts, and did a reset by holding the light button 30s.
Now I am just stuck on a screen with the Fenix 7 logo.
any tips on how to proceed? I got my watch directly from garmin July 2022.
