Training Calendar sync issues

I have added a training plan to my Training Calendar and scheduled it a workout every other day.

If I edit an upcoming workout in GC, save it and then sync the watch, the workout is not updated on the device. I purposedly renamed the workout (added the letter N at the end of the name) to check if it is updated, and it is not.

I tried reconnecting the watch, syncing several times etc. The only effective workaround that I found is to shift the entire training plan back and forth by one day. After the initial shift, that particular workout is immediately updated on the watch.

I have a 7X set as Primary Wearable and Primary Training Device, software version is 11.28.

Are you guys having the same issue? Perhaps an option to manually force Calendar update would help, idk.

I have the same problem. When I change the date of my traininig (via Training Peaks) it syncs with Garmin Connect, but not on the watch even after several syncs.

I have noticed the same. There must be a cut-off time after which the Garmin calendar or watch doesn't pick up changes or new workouts from TrainingPeaks for the current day.

Some times, adding a specific time of the day to the TrainingPeaks workout later than the current time will force the re-sync.

I sometimes just look for the training under Trainings on the watch and start it manually as the training is still there.

I never had the problem on my Fenix 6 though.

When I moved a training from one day to another it changed with the next sync straight away.

I hope that this software glitch will be solved soon.

Did you try to delete this workout from the watch and then synchronise watch with GC?
It’s a long shot, I’m now using only dailly suggestion and these works fine.

Hi all,

after an update of my watch on the computer (apparently on maps were updates?!) the sync works again.

Worth a try
