Time not synced correctly

Hi,

My watch is alaways displaying 4 seconds late compared to my smartphone hour or online atomic clock.

I tried to sync manually with Garmin conenct : System>Hour>sync but it does not change anything.

I read that the watch is syncing hour on the smartphone through Garmin connect but It is not always correct.

I tried to sync with gPS, it's ok. Only the Garmin conenct sync is not working.

Do you have a solution ?

Try pressing and holding the Start/Stop button to start saving your current location. You don't actually have to save it, you just have to wait for the GPS lock which includes the current time.

Hi,

No news about if Garmin will enable Time syncing through Garmin connect ? When my watch is not using GPS, I have time having more than 20 seconds gap compared to a reference clock (for example my smatphone).

Why garmin is not implementing time sync when the watch is syncing with the phone. It is so easy to do and we can expect a watch always on time. Any basic watch lije a Casio (not costing 1200 euros) is able to be always synced with an atomic clock or other.

Hope this feature will come soon.

Same are, fenix 7 is always 3-4 seconds behind my Casios and phone no matter if I sync its time to phone or GPS.

For me if I synced with GPS (on the watch), it's ok, time is synced correctly.

But if I sync only with mobile time is never synced. I didn't use my GPS watch for more than 3 weeks and my watch was about 13 to 14 seconds behind. So for me phone syncing is not working.

Why is it so ddificult to sync time with the phone.

You can go to https://time.is/ to check your watch time with the atomic time.

The watch quartz seems also to be very bad quality because the watch is losting seconds very quickly. On my casio, even without syncing the watch keeps the time better.
