Hi Vlora, is it similar to the issue discussed in this thread? Does it happen always at the same location? Is the map partially or fully blank (white) just before the crash? If that's the case, you should contact Garmin-Chris via private message!
hi, I contacted Garmin - Chris back in September 2022 with the problem that the watch restarts in the same place. I complained about the watch twice, then I switched to enduro 2. I didn't notice the restart there, but the map at that location is empty. I prefer to avoid the place, but this is not the solution. In this I am disappointed with Garmin's approach. Garmin adds new functions, but I think they forget what these devices are intended for in the first place.
Thank you for creating a new thread for the restarting issue. We have not yet worked together so I am unsure which issue you are experiencing.
- How long ago did your watch begin restarting while you are recording an activity?
- Does your restart take place at the same exact location each time or is your crash/restart random?

I had two other crashes with different versions before!

I didn’t use Map at all! It doesn’t happen in the same location

Today I faced two restarts while I was on 50 min running workout.
One on 38th minute, the other on 47th min.
It happened in random locations. Without using map or planned workout.
Do you have any upcoming fix about this bug.
I am sorry your issue continues. When reviewing each new quarterly software update, you will find the release notes by engineering mention resolving restart issues. At this point, 99.5% all restart issue causes have been fixed. With the issue now being much more rare to be reported, if you bought your watch directly from the authorized vendor in your country, please refer back to them to inquire about warranty replacing your watch.
