It needs to be preached that the flashlight on the T7 and F7 has been the best addition to these lines. I use this thing for everything. Just wanted to reiterate and throw kudos at Garmin for not only putting a flashlight on the watch, but making it a legit light. Even the green light on my Tactix 7, which is perfect for going in and out of the bedroom at night without waking up my wife.
All of the metrics are useful, and I do not need them to be perfectly accurate. Trends are just as useful.
A suggestion and possible hearty market extension for Garmin:
Leverage ANT+ and manufacturer a larger array of sensors which would increase the utility of the watch. Few quick sensors I would use without question for projects:
LVDT
Strain Gauge
Accelerometer
Being able to get quick ballpark numbers on this stuff without busting out an setting up a DAS would be sick. Then being able to log into Connect and see a plot of acceleration vs time just as if someone was checking their HR or whatever.....
think OUTSIDE the box Garmin. Get creative and leverage ANT+.
