Display always on at Map view independent of Backlight Settings

Hi,

when I open the map on my fēnix 7 S the display will never turn off the background light independent of the Backlight Settings. This consumes lots of battery, especially on long exercises where the navigation feature is used.

Is there a way to apply the system- or activity specific time limits on the map too? I would like that the Backlight only turns on when I watch on the display of the clock.

Thanks for any hints on that. I couldn't figure that out by myself.

I noticed after 13.22 update that when I scroll to map during any activity, it turns on the backlight. But when scrolling through other data fields it does not. Is it by design? I have backlight off, only enable it with a button.

Well this is really stupid. Why would they do that? If I set it to off, why would it turn on even in bright sunlight??
