Hey people, I hope everyone is well! Question for those that use Lactate Threshold for their heart rate zones. My current LT is set at 8:33 and 171bpm. Today, did a threshold workout that kept my pace around 8:00 (roughly my 10k race pace) for 18 minutes and heart rate topping out at 176bpm, with a warmup and cool down, each 10 minutes around 10:20 pace. I would have assumed this would have update my LT to a newer pace and bpm, but the watch didn't recognize I guess. I have the automatic threshold turned on and used an HRM Pro.
Am I misunderstanding Lactate Threshold? Was my pace not consistent? Appreciate any help!
