Stair climbing - is my Fenix 7S malfunctioning?

Hello all.

Since 3-6 weeks I been climbing stairs everyday for like 30-40 floors to increase my cardiovascular performance and get leaner. Problem is that sometimes my floors are not properly tracked. For example, when I did small warmup fo 11 floors it only counted 2 floors. Basicaly when I was starting my journey with stairs I was able to get avg bpm up to 140 for like ~4 minutes of climbing 11-13 floors (did that several times during the day. Sometimes I get barely 90 bpm avg. since I started. Today I had registered avg. of 131 bpm.

I do other light to heavy cardiovascular activities like intervals on treadmill and from such activity it seems to be working fine. When I did intervals I had my heart almost jumping out of my chest very high avg. I also do cycling whre bpm readings dont look out of the ordinary.

Could it be that I adapted to stair climbing that fast and well or is my Fenix 7S faulty?
