Data Fields for Ultra Run

Hey all! I hope this finds you well! Going for a 50K race this Saturday, I was curious what others have for data fields.

My layout for training has been Instant Pace, Lap Pace, total distance, lap distance, heart rate, and instant run power.

Would love to know what others set up for their data fields, what you find most important during your run.

Also, has anyone used the auto rest function on Ultra? Was it reliable or did it turn on/off to much? I had issues with it on a half marathon race, it seemed to take too long to recognize stop and starting.

  • I have current pace, distance & timer. Haven't used the auto rest function.

  • For up to 50K I still use my normal trail running data screens that are the following:

    1) HR gauge, distance, average pace, timer

    2) Map

    3) Stamina with the time estimate as the primary field. The stamina data screen also shows instant pace and HR

    4) Vert Speed, total ascent, total descent, elevation, HR gauge

    I am curious about using auto rest but haven't tested it yet. I think if I setup the Ultra Run mode it would likely be very similar to the data screens above but with the rest timer, either manual or automatic.
