Sync to GC via M1 Macbook

hi,

The M1/M2 mac's can natively run the iPhone apps. However Garmin Connect app is blocked from installing on M1 mac anyone knows why ?

Is there another way to sync the watch with the Garmin Connect without using a phone ? By using a PC or Mac for that ?

Developers can block access to iOS apps on the Mac. So in this case Garmin does not want you to install the Connect app on your Mac.

You can use your Mac and the Garmin Express app to sync your watch to Garmin Connect.

I am not sure what you are getting at. I have a MBP with the M1 chip and i have Garmin Connect working just fine. You just have to get your Mac to install it,

Thank you for your answer, that's odd I don't see it in iPhone app tabs in App Store on my mac. What M1 was launched all the apps were on accessible on M1 App store macs' then Apple added the possibility for developers to authorise or not the possibility to install the iPhon app on the mac. So maybe they removed it now.

That all there is from Garmin at the moment.

By the way the link you send is about installing unsupported apps and not iOS apps

There are many companies that release software for their product and not necessarily have an "app" for it. Look at the top left of this forum page and you'll see "Apps and Software". Try looking there.
