Unable to set Primary Training Device or Primary Wearable

I have a Fenix 7 and an Edge 1040. I want to set the Edge device as Primary Training Device, but this option doesn't exist for me. I have seen screenshots from other where they can change the Primary Training Device, but this option doesn’t exist for me. Does anyone else have the same issue? Is this a known “bug”?

I have attached some screenshots of how it looks like on the GC web. The settings doesn’t appear in the in the iOS app either.

The EDGE is not yet supported. The Fenix/Epix just got it with 11.25/11.28 Firmware.

That is incorrect. I can set my Edge as primary training device.

I also had it set for one week or so, previously, to test how it behaves instead of the watch.

And you are not on the beta channel with your EDGE?

Previoulsy, with my Epix I was able to remove the watch from Garmin connect, then add it again. That took primary training device off the watch and just made it primary wearable. My Edge 1040 did not say Primary training device, but HRV and training readiness seemed to be working correctly again. As it si now, if the watch is set to both, it breaks the HRV and training readiness if I use the 1040 for cycling, which is my primary sport.

After removing and adding my Epix twice from and to Garmin Connect, it's finally set as just the primary wearble again.

I have the same issue. My devices are Forerunner 955 Solar and Fenix 7. It worked few days ago, but now I cannot change my primary device.

Same issue with me. I’m trying to set a primary wearable to see if it helps to update my “Training status”. At the moment my rides are uploading from my edge to Garmin Connect but not appearing in my “load” calculations out “Training status”.
