Fenix 7 - move to new smartphone

I got my new smartphone today. How can I now switch to the new smartphone with my Fenix 7 and Garmin Connect and Connect IQ without losing data?

Just install Garmin connect on another phone, login and sync. You can keep using old and new phone, F7 will sync with the one is connected to.

Just did that on a Samsung, Smartswitch copied Connect over without me needing to reset up everything. I just re-paired the watch by using the "pair with phone" option on the watch and all was fine.

Install GCM on your new phone, pair the watch to your new phone: Connectivity > Phone > Pair Phone (watch menu). Remove the "old" pairing if you don't want to keep using your old phone.
