Just like it says. How can I get my Fenix 7 to record and log heart rate recovery?

Unfortunately, the recovery number does not show up in the GC summary page nor the history summary on the watch. Would be a nice addition.
Yep, I would love to be able to see a graph of my recovery HR over time. At one point I was literally writing it down every day on a piece of paper, so I could track the trend, but eventually I got tired…
Non riesco a capire cosa cerchi, alla fine della corsa fai scorrere i dati, non salvare subito dovresti trovare il recupero della frequenza cardiaca con un timer preimpostato di 2 min, alla fine ti mostra quanti battiti hai recuperato
When activity is stopped users are presented with a menu where there are several options such as save, resume discard and so on. One od these is the recovery HR. Once selected in 2 minutes result is shown.

I agree with you Dan You should share this idea with Garmin folks through their official channel for collecting user ideas.

It's kind of silly that the watch will show you the recovery HR, but then it just disappears into the ether, never to get recorded anywhere. Definitely something Garmin should add at some point.
When I brought this topic up like 10 years ago (yep) I was told that even though it's completely ignored by Garmin, it IS written to the fit file. I have no idea why Garmin/first beat doesn't take this metric seriously, but after all this time I doubt anything will ever change. Still, it's in the fit file so presumably other platforms can utilize it. Runalyze maybe?
