Did you buy the watch because you "thought" it would have ecg? Do you have a history of arrhythmia?
I understand people want to always have the newest thing, but if you had paid attention to…
Still, bluefish is right. It looks like OP hasn't read the post he's quoting. ECG's coming to future but not to any more current gen watches (although that's weird, because the D2 Air X10 does have the…
Garmin solved it in this way, so that you do not need to use the other hand.
Unfortunately, your guess of two electrodes on the back of the watch does not work. With Venu 2+, you have to touch…
No additional watch models will contain the hardware to support the ECG app.
„We do intend to continue to expand our portfolio of products supporting the ECG App“
You are wrong. What don't you understand about this statement?
Stop marking all your replies as answers. Why do you keep doing that?
As I understand the forum, only the threadopener can mark replies as helpful or even as a solution.
However, I have not yet found out where the difference is between a blue and a green frame.

I understand people want to always have the newest thing, but if you had paid attention to how Garmin operates, you would have realized they are slow, methodical, incremental in their approach.
No, you can also mark it as an "answer". Only the opener can accept it. But everyone can see that you think you have the answer.

because the D2 Air X10 does have the Venu 2+ hardware
Indeed. Both watches have the necessary concentric electrodes on the backside. I bet the D2 Air X10 will get a firmware upgrade with the ECG feature sooner or later too. Just it may take some time, because of the more complex software or much longer testing, and a lengthy certification of the aviation watch.
Nope, only thing you have to do is mark it as an answer, see?
Is OT in this thread but I can not mark my answer as a reply.
Maybe my "status =100%" is not enough for this.
As I said, my understanding in the functions of the forum are still low.
Let's hope it does, seems wired Garmin say no other watch has the hardware when the X10 does.
