Do you clean the OHR sensor of your Fenix 7? Any general tips for regular cleaning?

I'm a little paranoid of scratching the OHR sensor of my F7 because I already got a scratch on it on a previous F7 I owned a few month ago. For cleaning I just shower with the watch but am not sure how to dry it properly. On the one hand I'd like to wipe the device afterwards to remove any remaining lint, debris etc which could lead to scratches when trapped between watch and skin. On the other hand I'm wondering if the watch better should just air-dry. You know "less is more"... As you can see I'm probably stressing this already too much so would like to know how you are handling it.

After an activity (2-3 times a week), I take the watch into the shower and thoroughly rinse it off. Dry it off with a towel, blow any water out of the charging port, and call it good. Had a 7X since public release and it looks brand new. I wouldn't fret too much.

I agree; I only rinse my Fenix 7 Saphire sensor with warm water after workouts... but the main reason is to avoid skin irritation, which may get to be a problem if sweat and any kind of humidity builds up and dries again between watch and skin.

Right. My first Instinct, I kept it on 24/7 without taking it off to clean. Caused skin irritation. Lesson learned.

I never take mine off except to charge. Showering with it on keeps very clean and I don't have any scratches.
