Wrist Pain Fenix 7

I’m quite upset to find these forums now that I have purchased the watch.  EXACTLY the same symptoms, deep aching in the wrist, which I feel the the HR monitor, the reason I bought the watch.  It’s not the wrist bone, it’s the exact spot where the green light of the sensor hits my wrist.  Have traded calls and emails with Garmin and hoping for them to do the right thing, the watch is a week old and the pain was Day 1.

  • Clearly not good, surely not a common issue. Vast majority of users don't experience anything like that. I'd start with a dermatologist rather than product support teams or forums, as it might be a very personal skin reaction related to the phototype, allergies, general sensitivity etc. I wouldn't search for a solution here, just as I wouldn't 'ask Google' about anything that I should consult with a healthcare professional. Anyways if you get any useful info from the doctor that you might be willing to share, it might be helpful for others. Info from earlier threads might help in checking if there's any difference if you use only green (HR) or also red (Oxygen level) LEDs, does it happen only on dry skin or also / only with sweat during workouts etc.
And 'armed' with proper diagnosis you can also ask Garmin to take the watch back and send you a refund or offer a different product if you'll know exactly what is causing such a body response, since it's very uncommon.

  • I believe Tom is absolutely right you should seek help from a healthcare professional. It's definitely not a common issue. I hope this will get resolved for you. Happy workouts!

  • We are sorry to hear about the issue you are reporting. You should immediately discontinue wearing your watch and reach out to a health professional.
