Treadmill calibration on fenix 7

Hi,

I did a run on treadmill last week and automatically got an option to calibrate.

Now when I am trying to re calibrate I am unable to do so.I went through various forums and tried everything.Need help.

1. I did a run of 2.4 Km (more than 1.5 Km as recommended)

2. My software is updated to the latest one (v10.44)

3. I went to setting -> Treadmill -> Restore default

3. After pressing stop I dont se an option to Calibrate & Save I get the following options Resume, Save, Resume Later, Lap, Recovery HR & Discard

Kindly help.

The best way to calibrate the treadmill activity is to Run outdoors with GPS. This GPS data is used to calibrate…

Hi,

You have to initiate the workout by pressing Start and selecting Treadmill then loading or starting the workout, not loading the workout through another activity menu or option than Treadmill.

After finishing the workout, press START to stop the workout. A big red squared STOP sign will appear on screen.

After that press BACK and you should have the Save&Calibrate option right there.

Unless you're using a footpod, calibrating a treadmill against your arm waving around is futile in my experience. Others may have had more success, but...

The distance has to be the one measured by the watch, not by the treadmill, to qualify. Is this the case?

The best way to calibrate the treadmill activity is to Run outdoors with GPS. This GPS data is used to calibrate the treadmill calibration. You can then try the treadmill run again. So long as your run distance captured by the watch is still over the required minimum distance, you will have the option to Calibrate and Save when you complete your run.
