How tight?

Hi all, pardon my english but i'm using a translator!!
Perhaps it will be a question that has already been asked, but how tightly should I keep my fenix 7 on my wrist to ensure that the heart rate data is as accurate as possible?
Does it leave marks on your wrist after several hours?
Or isn't it a problem if it's slightly bouncy?

  • I generally have it loose enough that it can move one space from wrist bone to forearm, taking the band as measurement (so 5-7mm?), and it leaves the band’s mark if resting at a table or if at the furthest distance it can go up forearm. Satisfied with the estimated data.

When doing activities I fix its position tightening it by one spot. Comfortably loose to move slightly around the wrists circumference if I shake it, but still stays in its position. The mark it leaves includes band and back part of watch but it doesn’t bother or hurt at all. Next band spot does. Hope this description helps! (And that translator doesn’t make it worse lol)

  • I hold it tight enough, it doesn't move from its position even if I shake my arm vigorously and the green LED is not visible even if I move or bend my wrist!!
the only thing is that keeping it like this ... after a while I have the mark on the wrist of the watch and the strap, but it doesn't bother me
  • Can’t read your whole message; just up to “while I have”. If it was me, I’d look for a happy medium between comfortability and accuracy. Let me explain, if it hurts or if I find myself distracted all day by having a mark on the wrist then I’d losen it up by one space and try it like that for a day or two and then assess if 1) I’m satisfied with the data (no blank areas in graph, unrecognized heart rate during activity or unrecognized/incomplete sleep charts) and 2) if I can live without worrying now that it feels too loose. I would suggest you experiment until you can forget you have the watch on except for when you need to use it for time, activity, etc.

If you don’t mind the mark and how tight it is then by all means keep using it like that. Thumbsup tone1
