New Fenix 7x solar owner, according to map manager I’ve got 7.3GB free space, my newly downloaded topo active map has a file size of 6.3GB and is showing that I have an update available.
If I try to update, I get an odd error message saying “An additional 0 MB is needed to download this map region” is this the softwares way of saying that my map is up to date, just with an odd message?
I’ve had a look in Garmin express and it shows I’ve got a load more free space than that, I’m in Europe and I did narrow down my map choice in connect to my region only, rather than the whole of Europe.
I think there's a limit to how many maps you can have, I have quite a few additional osm maps and Garmin maps.. I have room left for another, but it will not show in the list in map manager... So I've reached the limit of maps allowed.
I have 11 additional maps....thats the limit... 15 all together.
That is very strange isn't it?... I can download Garmin maps for any region?..
I've not seen this message before sorry.
If I didn't get any answers I'd contact Garmin product support and look to exchange it... They are very good and helpful if your watch isn't operating as it should....
