Inaccurate pace on treadmill after calibration F7

Hello I've recently purchased the Fenix 7 and after calibration on a treadmill run at 10min miles because it wasn't showing correct pace as well as it uploads incorrect data to my Strava it still shows incorrect pace on my next treadmill runs for example if I'm sprinting it still thinks I'm running at 10min miles. Can anyone help?

Get a footpod and stop trying with wrist based pace.

No, you do not need to restore the settings. You only have to run till the watch shows minimally 2.4 km (1.5 mi), the calibration option is then available.

Adam thanks for the reply but I've done this more than 5 times and it's still not knowing the difference between 6 min miles to 10 min miles.

Exactly, wrist based is an estimation. Turn your hand to check time and it will ruin watch pace estimation. Not sure that Garmin can do anything about.

Are you seeing the distance/pace concern primarily at the begging of the treadmill run? Or are you seeing inaccuracies with the Pace/Distance throughout the activity?

Do you keep your arms swinging consistently throughout the activity, without holding the handlebars?

Do you Calibrate and Save with each treadmill recording? If so, does this appear better or worse with the next treadmill activity?

All of you assistance with much appreciated, as we try to identify potential concern and solutions.

Hello. I also have this kind of problem with my Fenix 6. I have the watch for 2 yrs now and never had this problem before. I always run outside and would sometimes use the treadmill. But in the past month, I have been running every day on the treadmill and I'm getting inaccurate pace in my watch. I am following a workout program so I have to enter 5 mph or 7.7 mph on the treadmill, but the watch would only give me a reading within the range of 10 min/ mile - 9:50. I did "Restore settings" in my watch as advised be the agent that I chatted before but I'm still having the same problem.

And did you try calibrating the treadmill activity as suggested in the post just before yours?

I did. But it's like, everyday I have to click "restore settings" because If I don't do that, it will not give me the option to calibrate the activiry.

I have a fenix 7 pro. While I was able to calibrate the first time, I now no longer have the calibration and save option in the menu when I stop and want to save the activity despite running more than 5k. Impossible to find a solution
