SpeedPro what does it do.

The fenix 7 manual describes SpeedPro: as Enables advanced speed metrics for windsurf activity runs.

Does anyone know what it actually does? I don’t see a difference between my windsurfing activities with it switched on or off.

any thoughts much appreciated

Had the same question. The description Garmin gives is really dumb.

It supposed to show your speed breakdown like gps speed watches do: max, 2sec, 10 sec, 100m... 500m but it doesn't work for some reason. It's enabled in my Instinct 2 Surf and added as data screen but it's always showing empty screen.

it is working for me (fenix 7 pro), but something is off with the speeds it is registering.

Activating speedpro in my windsurfing mode added 1 last page, when sailing this page shows you the average for the 5 best 10s runs, and bellow the avg it list those 5 best runs with their corresponding best 10s speed.

The problem is the speeds are way off, they are slower than what other apps or GPS show for 5x10s avg. Also the individual runs show a lower speed as what other gps are showing for the same run (using a locosys BGT31 on the arm to compare). Something is not working in the way they are picking the best 10s for each run or something else.

The feature looks promising but not useful at all if its giving wrong speeds.

Hello over there, nothing working for me also. Got the Instinct 2X solar. I really would like Garmin do something to improve with winsdurfing data.
