Glance folder’s disappears?

Anyone else experience this?

second time this happens to me now.

woke up this morning and suddenly all folders gone and all glances just randomly everywhere….

    Been using my new Garmin Epix Pro for about two weeks and this has been happening to me also. May just delete Garmin Connect to see if it stops it but not in a rush to try and have to rearrange all my glances again.

    Did you use Garmin Express to sync your Epix Pro and it results in your Glance folders deleting or being reset to default or moving around your glances?

    Yep, I used Garmin Express to sync my Epix Pro, and it resulted in the glances being reset (I believe. I had to go back to restore glances and re-arrange everything again). I do not use folders.

    I was charging my battery, opened Garmin Express (Mac), ConnectIQ showed up as an update, updated it, synced, finished charging, turned the watch off/on and my glance loop resorted a few glances and remove half of them from the list.

    Not sure if ConnectIQ caused the mess or what. I don’t use folders.

    Yes, my glances got erased, I just noticed a day or two ago, but it likely happened with the update to 13.22.

    I use Android phone and PC, and haven't noticed them get erased before.

    Same is occurring to me since I bought the watch (Feb 2022, F7X SS).

    Currently on 13.22 firmware and Garmin Express (macOS) 7.17.2.0 but was happening on every Fenix firmware version.

    Very annoying bug...

    Just updated to 14.36 on my Epix2 and again my glances have been messed up. This seems to happens during major firmware updates. I have several folders setup and most of them get removed. I am using Garmin Express on the Mac for the updates (current version is 7.18.0.0).

    This is very frustrating. It would be great if there was a means to backup the configuration of the Glances. Also it would be great to receive notification of glance updates (i.e. new glances) as part of the firmware version history.

    Same for me, again. 14.31 -> 14.36. Glad the battery issues are solved (hopefully), but the reset of glances every time is really becoming a pain. Agreed that there needs to be a way to back up glances.

    I think this is where the problem is, not the update itself. Contact Garmin Support and make sure they know about this and ensure you include your use of Garmin Express MacOS. FWIW, had my glances deleted/rearranged on F7 and F7P the other day too.

    The new backup/restore process does exactly that. Once you've got the glances back make sure you create a backup.

    Last night, most of my folders gone after watch was off for a day. Not even after an update this time... also a day earlier the watch turned off/on by itself, not sure if that provoked an issue...
