Hello, I am new to Garmin and recently got a Fenix 7x Sapphire Solar. I am blown away by this watch so far but I am a bit confused with some of the features in the built-in Hunt Activity App.
I started a hunt and saved a bunch of locations within the Hunt Activity. This added these points to both the "Hunt Locations and Saved Locations list within the app. NOTE: These Saved Locations are visible within Garmin Explore which I expected.
I noticed some of the locations were incorrect as they were being saved (maybe the GPS saved the location before acquiring my location?) so I deleted them all and started again. I could not delete the last location and discovered it to be a "duplicate" of the next location I'd save. Even after creating a few more, and deleting them it would always be a duplicate of the 1st one I add after clearing all but the "undeletable" one. To be clear there IS an option to delete it, but when attempting to do so it just doesn't go away.
Not being a fan of a duplicate location in the Hunt Locations list (NOTE: the Saved Locations list does not and never did show this duplicate entry). I decided to reset the watch. This went as you'd expect and I configured it back o the way I had it. All my Saved Locations synced back to my watch. My Hunt Location however are blank. so yay, there is no "undeletable" location, but also not there are no locations. They are visible from the map view within the Hunt Activity but just not considered "Hunt Locations anymore.
Can anyone explain:
What I may have done wrong to create a duplicate undeletable location entry in the Hunt Activity - Hunt Location list?
Or how to delete it in the future without resetting the watch?
Or how to restore my Saved Locations as Hunt Locations?
