Hike Activity gets not synced to Garmin Connect

Today I did a Hiking activity on my Fenix 7X (FW 9.37).
After finishing it it’s not synced into my Garmin Connect profile.

I can still see it on the watch under latest activity.
When I create a new Hiking activity just for test and stop it immediately it gets synced but the one from today somehow gets skipped.

Also tried to sync from the watch directly via WiFi but it’s the same issue.
Any ideas?

Thank you for your report. There was an issue found in our iOS Connect Mobile APP that has been resolved. Please update your Connect Mobile APP to version 4.62.x.xx.

If the file is corrupt, it will not get synced.

Connect the watch to your pc. Open in file explorer. Locate .fit file and try uploading to connect.

If its corrupt, try web services to repair it.

Did you try to sync with Garmin express computer application? I had a similar issue in the past and the sync via computer cable connection worked.

I’m traveling the next few weeks and don’t have a computer with me. Only an iPad… so seems there is no solution until I’m home again. :-/

Did you try long power down on the watch and restart it ? Also remove completely and reinstall the app on the phone.

Yes, I did A restart of the watch.

Guess it’s not related to the app since it’s also not uploaded if I sync the watch directly via WiFi.

My todays activity got synced as well… seems only the hike from yesterday is affected as it’s still not synced yet.

I had a similar issue last weekend. I did two biking activities, and only the latter showed up on GCM on my iPad after sync. I then tried syncing the watch over wi-fi, still the activity didn’t show up on GGM. A restart of GCM solved the issue.
