Info about leatherman tread and Fenix 7x

Hi all!

I have a brand new Fenix 7X SS, and I would like to apply my Leatherman Tread. Instead of my previous Fenix 3, here I need a clip on adaptor. I cant find it nowhere!! What and where did u find one working? Searched also on Ali, but nothing ready...

Might be a silly question but have you tried contacting Leatherman?

Nope, because those adapters are made by some private companies, not by leatherman

They suggest this will fit a 5X and 6X so it should also fit your 7X; Garmin 7X QR straps fit 5X/6X.

Saw that already, but the 5x and 6x have the pins that can be screwed out. The Fenix 7 has the pins that are fixed

That’s been a source of angst for a number of people. You’ll see from the forum threads about the fixed pins that they can be removed and replaced with spring pins.
