loose charging cable

Bought a new Fenix 7X and the charging cable, where it connects to the watch, is a lot looser (so much so that you can wiggle it) than my 6X.

Not sure if this is:

A) Normal for the 7X

B) A problem with the cable

C) A problem with the watch

Any ideas?

Don't you have two cables anymore?... 6x cable and 7x cable...

I have additional cables and all fit perfect

you should check a cable of your friend or by an additional one

I have the same issue. Purchased the 7s sapphire solar and the charging cable is so loose I have had to manually hold in place each time to charge. It's so annoying and frustrating. I emailed Garmin, hopefully, they'll respond and it's an easy fix.

I am sorry you have an issue. It is good to hear you have already emailed Product Support in your region. Be sure to request a new charging/data cable to test with your Fenix 7S Solar watch and if the new cable does not resolve your issue, your watch will need to be warranty exchanged.

In Spain, Garmin support send nothing. I used warranty for my watch for that reason and they came back the watch and say "It is so by design". The watch disconnected continuosly from PC with the original cable, only need a little soft touch.

I bought a "cheap" cable and works perfect. The original cable was crap. Thank you, Garmin. You owe me a cable.
