Unable to view screenshots - macOS Monterey

Screenshots can’t be viewed using macOS Monterey. Any suggestions?

The problem is fixed in macOS Ventura.

Do you mean you can't get direct access to the screenshots on the watch? If so you need Android File Transfer to gain access to the file system.

I have no problem transferring the screenshots to the Mac using Android File Transfer, but the .bmp file can not be viewed.

I can upload the .bmp file to online image converters and download the converted .jpg. The downloaded .jpeg can then be viewed on the Mac.

I have never had any issues viewing the screenshots on my Mac. Perhaps this is a question for a Mac Forum.

It has never been a problem to me either. Maybe two weeks ago I upgraded to Monterey. Today is the first time I have tried viewing a screenshot using Monterey.

I just tried to download a handful of random .bmp files from google. The are all viewable on the Mac.
