Why is my Fenix 7sSS missing the Tide app, but the 7SS and 7XSS have it? Reward if you solve this for me.

This is quite frustrating for me, as the Garmin website specifies that the fenix 7 series has access to tide data. Does anyone know how to tag company-linked community moderators?

I'm generally pretty averse to running third-party software on the Garmin.

The OS has no concept of processes or userspace isolation so shared address spaces seem ripe for abuse. Since my credit card is linked, it's not a risk I'd like to take. 

To sweeten the pot; if anyone can help me resolve the missing Tide app on my fenix 7sSS (whether by helping me find it, or producing concrete proof of a bug/misconfiguration for the 7s vs others in its line) I will venmo you $15. 

I have the 7s SS 9.36, tide is exactly where you said. Region EU.

I just factory reset my device, reinstalled the connect app, and still do not have the Tides app under the

Lucky shot but try to install the secure_config. Maybe they hide it by mistake.

Got any links for what secure_config is or how it’s installed. 

If anyone has a 7s that is still on 9.33, I would greatly appreciate being told if they can see the tides widget at the location described in my post. 

7S on 9.33 here. I'm also missing the tides app. Checked through all the activity "folders".
