Questions about the new Stocks Glance

Hello everyone,

I was excited to see the new stocks glance and it looks very useful and well integrated but I can't seem to find out some of the common stocks to watch. I mean, trying to search for the Dow Jones Industrial Average (or "DJIA") brings all kinds of weird stuff but not of them has the current value of the real Dow Jones Index. Lots of Chinese-sounding stuff in search results. Do I miss something ? Maybe it would be nice to be able to select a certain exchange only for the search results ?

I’ve been going out of mind trying to find the Dow Jones index but no luck! Seems odd that the NASDAQ is listed but no Dow Jones. Wonder if this is some sort of bug. I too like to monitor that index…

I'm not sure I follow. You're having trouble finding stocks to watch? Type GRMN for one. iNTC, AAPL, there are literally thousands. Do a Google search for a company name you like and add "stock" after the company name and then enter that Into the watch. So Google "caterpillar stock" and it will tell you the symbol is CAT.

On an unrelated note, I really hope they fix the glance name. STOCKS while every other glance is named properly has my anal retentiveness in knots

Indexes, such as the DJIA.

Ah. No indexes, just stocks. Rut, ndx, dji, spx indexes didn't work for me but all of my individual portfolio stocks work just fine

The S & P 500 is there too, but not DJIA. Weird. (S&P 500 - SPX).

@garmin needs to update to show DJI. That's ridiculous.

As a workaround, you can use DIA as a proxy for DJIA. It's a SPDR ETF that tracks the DJIA. It's just off by the decimal position.
